MPAC is hosting a follow-up to our non-partisan Los Angeles Mayoral Forum. We look forward to welcoming Mayor Bass to join the conversation with the Angeleno and Muslim communities. As with this first conversation, both candidates are being hosted on equivalent terms; MPAC is nonpartisan and does not endorse or oppose candidates for public office.

The Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) is proud to partner with Daffodil Studios and the Islamic Center of Southern California (ICSC) for a special screening of Saffron Kingdom, a bold and poignant film exploring the layered truths of Kashmir through memory, exile, and resistance. As Kashmir often gets lost in the global narrative, we would like to highlight the Kashmir conflict in honor of the Kashmiri people living under occupation since 1947 and those who have risked their safety and that of their families to create this film.
