Tell the Scarsdale Board: Protect Free Speech for All Students
Scarsdale School District is facing growing scrutiny over what many community members describe as a troubling double standard on free speech.
A middle school student wearing a keffiyeh and pro-peace clothing reportedly faced harassment, cyberbullying, and administrative escalation. A parent publicly described a student for wearing a keffiyeh on stage during a school performance. In another incident, a school employee was reportedly required to remove a Palestinian flag pin, while Israeli flyers showing the Golan Heights & West Bank as part of Israel remained displayed without issue.
Students, families, and educators deserve equal protection and equal freedom of expression—without fear of retaliation or selective enforcement based on viewpoint.
We’re holding Scarsdale School District accountable.
