Center for Government Relations

The Center for Government Relations is the core of MPAC’s advocacy work in Washington, D.C., ensuring that the perspectives and priorities of American Muslims are represented at the highest levels of government. We engage directly with members of Congress, policymakers, and coalition partners to advance policies that protect civil rights, uphold religious freedom, and promote equity for all communities.

Our team works to end discriminatory practices in immigration and national security, defend free speech, and encourage values-based policymaking grounded in justice and inclusion. We also collaborate with our Centers on the First Amendment and on Technology, Security, and Policy to inform legislation and drive meaningful reform.

Through policy briefings, legislative analysis, and strategic advocacy, the Center for Government Relations continues to strengthen the relationship between policymakers and the diverse communities they serve—building an America that truly reflects its democratic ideals.
