MPAC Issues New Community Guide Amid Escalating War in Iran

Today, the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) published a policy paper called, “The Pitfalls of Operation Epic Fury - How the Undeclared War Against Iran Hurts Americans’ Interests Abroad and at Home.”

In the paper, we highlight the harms against the American Muslim community in the context of this war, including increased violence against American Muslims and frequent discriminatory statements by senior U.S. government officials. Our goal is to inform government officials and the general public about unique challenges faced by our community at this time. To address our findings, the paper also includes MPAC’s recommendations to stop these harms. We call for an end to the war and for law enforcement agencies to better protect American Muslims.

MPAC is now taking specific actions to help implement our recommendations and we invite everyone to be a part of this process.

Please share the policy paper and this Community Guide widely.

We improve public policies and perceptions impacting the American Muslim community by engaging with government, Hollywood, news media, and communities.
