Neelab Yousafzai
Director of Strategic Initiatives and Policy Programs
Neelab Yousafzai is the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Policy Programs at the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC), where she leads national programming, strategic partnerships, and high-impact convenings at the intersection of policy, media, and civil society. With a background in nonprofit management, legal administration, and human rights advocacy, her work focuses on advancing equity, strengthening civic engagement, and building cross-sector coalitions.
She holds a Master’s degree in Human Rights Studies from Columbia University, a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Society from American University, and a Nonprofit Management Executive Certificate from Georgetown University. Neelab is also the founder of Fresh Start Refugee Assistance Center, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting refugees and immigrants in achieving self-sufficiency.
