Sundance Film Festival 2023: Muslim Cinematic Storytelling

At the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, MPAC presented Party @ The Park! Alongside the Islamic Scholarship Fund, we hosted the Muslim Cinematic Storytelling Panel – an open dialogue for Muslim filmmakers to share their experiences in the entertainment industry. During the evening, the filmmakers shared their work with the audience. Featured panelists included Iman Zawahry, Aizzah Fatima, Nausheen Dadabhoy, and Imran J. Khan. Hate Crimes After 9/11: House Resolution 662

After the attacks of September 11, 2001, there was a sharp rise in anti-Muslim sentiment that resulted in hate crimes and assaults against American Muslims and those incorrectly perceived to be Muslim, including Sikhs, Hindus and others.
