Hate Crimes After 9/11: House Resolution 662


After the attacks of September 11, 2001, there was a sharp rise in anti-Muslim sentiment that resulted in hate crimes and assaults against American Muslims and those incorrectly perceived to be Muslim, including Sikhs, Hindus and others.

MPAC went to Capitol Hill to push for House Resolution 662 to pass through Congress, a bill that honors the victims of those hate crimes.
