Sarah serves as Senior Researcher for the Center for Security, Technology, and Policy at the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC), where she produces research and analysis on threats, narratives, and the data behind them to support advocacy across technology, media, and policy.

Sarah holds a PhD in Government from Harvard University, where her dissertation research examined media, mis- and disinformation, and public opinion in the Middle East and North Africa.

She earned her MPhil in Modern Middle Eastern Studies at St. Antony’s College, Oxford, where she was a Marshall Scholar, and her B.A. in Political Science and Comparative Literature at the University of California, Berkeley. At Berkeley, she served as Editor-in-Chief of Al-Bayan Magazine and as President of the Muslim Students’ Association.

Sarah previously worked at the Human Rights Initiative at the Center for Strategic and International Studies and the Middle East Program at the Council on Foreign Relations in Washington, D.C.
