Khuram Zaman
Founding Director, Center for Security, Technology, and Policy
Khuram serves as Founding Director of the Center for Security, Technology, and Policy at the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC), where he monitors extremist and violent extremist threats and develops interventions to help keep Muslim communities safe.
His work focuses on identifying emerging risks, analyzing extremist activity, and building practical, community-centered strategies that protect Muslim communities from targeted violence, intimidation, and harm.
Prior to this role, Khuram served on Governor Wes Moore’s AI Advisory Council and held leadership roles across multiple businesses and startups, bringing experience in product management, data science, software development leadership, and building technology solutions for organizational and social impact.
