This promo video has been uploaded by the permission of the Japanese American National Museum. This is a promo video for the Japanese American National Museum. On the 11th anniversary of 9/11, the Muslim Public Affairs Council and the Islamic Center of Southern California honored the Japanese American community for their solidarity in protecting the rights of all people. The Japanese American National Museum was one of these honorees. Japanese Americans were first to defend Muslims against any backlash after 9/11. They knew too well the rage and hysteria that can fuel the most heinous crimes against any minority in a country as powerful as the United States.

The Interfaith Alliance & MPAC respond to the hate and fear caused by "Obsession: Radical Islam's War Against the West". Starting the week of the anniversary of 9/11, some 70 U.S. newspapers and magazines distributed DVD copies of "Obsession" as a paid advertisement inserted in Sunday papers in 12 key electoral swing states. An estimated 28 million copies of the DVD were paid for by a somewhat mysterious organization called the "Clarion Fund". The DVD has been called an attempt to utilize anti-Muslim fear mongering to sway the American electorate. Since Obsession's debut on national TV in 2005, MPAC's "Truth Over Fear" campaign has provided more than 50 educational workshops around the country and a thorough analysis of such projects as "Obsession".
