Defending Student Advocacy: Protecting Civil Liberties & Free Speech on Campus

Videos
On October 22, 2024 By MPAC
A long-standing tradition on university campuses, students advocating for Palestinian human rights and calling for university divestment from Israel face immense backlash, including smear campaigns, doxxing, character assassinations, and violence. Troublingly, pro-Palestinian students are often falsely labeled as supporters of terrorism, conflating Zionism with anti-Semitism, and portraying their peaceful activism as a national security threat. This dangerous precedent targets individuals solely for their political beliefs, fostering a climate of fear, hostility, and self-censorship on campuses. They face harassment by counter-protestors and law enforcement, as well as threats and disciplinary actions from university administrators, impacting their careers and future prospects. Towards a Secure Future: Reevaluating US National Security Priorities

Videos
On October 22, 2024 By MPAC
For decades, the US has mistreated Muslims in the name of national security. This has made people dislike and fear Muslims. Even though the U.S. says it doesn't hate Islam, its actions show otherwise. These unfair policies have made people angry at both Muslims and Americans. They hurt everyone, including Americans. We need to change these policies and create new ones that are fair and protect everyone.
