Troublingly, pro-Palestinian students are often falsely labeled as supporters of terrorism, conflating Zionism with anti-Semitism, and portraying their peaceful activism as a national security threat. This dangerous precedent targets individuals solely for their political beliefs, fostering a climate of fear, hostility, and self-censorship on campuses. They face harassment by counter-protestors and law enforcement, as well as threats and disciplinary actions from university administrators, impacting their careers and future prospects.
