Amir Malik
Regional Development Manager
Amir serves as Regional Development Manager at the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC), working from the Los Angeles office and supporting development initiatives across the West Coast region.
Amir began his career at Sony, where he supported the systems that power PlayStation’s worldwide storefront. He later led strategy and program execution at Meta, driving complex initiatives and ensuring the successful delivery of key innovative projects. His work has focused on aligning organizational leadership and executive vision for multi-billion dollar program initiatives while ensuring projects are properly funded and supported.
He previously served as a Business Development Executive at IslamiCity, where he led fundraising initiatives, partnerships, and strategic growth efforts to expand the nonprofit organization’s mission and global reach to more than 12 million visitors per year. His work supported development of faith-based digital media, educational programs, and globally used products such as Pray Watch, HalalX, and Qur’an+.
Amir earned a B.S. in Information and Computer Science with a minor in Political Science from UC Irvine, an M.S. in Systems Engineering from UCLA, and an MBA from Pepperdine University with a concentration in entrepreneurship and business innovation. He is a Young Leaders Silicon Valley Summit alum and has volunteered with MPAC on multiple occasions since 2013.
