2022 Convention | Weaponization of Women: Working Towards Inalienable Rights

At our 22nd Annual Convention, we held a panel discussion “Weaponization of Women: Working Towards Inalienable Rights” where we discussed key action steps that can be deployed on an individual and collective basis to beat back the current tidal wave of injustices being heaped upon American women.

Our panelists were Asifa Quraishi-Landes, Professor of Law at the University of Wisconsin, Dr. Laila Al-Marayati, MD, OB/GYN, and Ghada Khan, MPH DRPH, Executive Director at American Muslim Health Professionals (AMHP). The panel was moderated by Leena Barakat, CEO, Women Donors Network, WDN Action, with Opening Remarks by Sue Obeidi, Director of the MPAC Hollywood Bureau & Closing Remarks by Connie Rice, Co-Founder and Co-Director, Advancement Project.
