"The Quran says that hope is something that you will find if you only believe in God's mercy. So wherever you find hope, you will find God. That is our faith. That is our mantra. That is why we do what we do tonight in the Muslim Public Affairs Council entertainment Media Awards is to find that hope for America so that people know that Islam and America for the future is part of this great country." - Salam Al-Marayati, MPAC President ---------- Watch all videos from the 2017 MPAC Media Awards playlist. http://bit.ly/2r2DPfo Presented by the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) Hollywood Bureau. The panel was moderated by Dr. Laila Al-Marayati, chairwoman of KinderUSA and the former presidential appointee to the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom.
