Since her colleague’s murder, she has led a movement demanding justice and calling for the protection of journalists worldwide. This day-long lab in Los Angeles is designed to advance Muslim screenwriters in their careers. As the entertainment industry works toward inclusion, this first lab in a series is an opportune time for writers to get their material in front of decision-makers who are looking to increase diversity in writers rooms.
