It's been a rainy week in Southern California, but that hasn't stopped public school teachers from marching for their rights. Roughly 30,000 Los Angeles area teachers are holding a strike for more resources and smaller class sizes to offer more personalized attention to their students. This promo video has been uploaded by the permission of the Japanese American National Museum. This is a promo video for the Japanese American National Museum. On the 11th anniversary of 9/11, the Muslim Public Affairs Council and the Islamic Center of Southern California honored the Japanese American community for their solidarity in protecting the rights of all people. The Japanese American National Museum was one of these honorees. Japanese Americans were first to defend Muslims against any backlash after 9/11. They knew too well the rage and hysteria that can fuel the most heinous crimes against any minority in a country as powerful as the United States.
