Responding to Rosenberg’s inflammatory question about designating CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood as terrorist organizations, Secretary Rubio stated that such designations were “in the works,” an unprecedented comment from a Secretary of State about a domestic institution.

Israel has just announced its plan to illegally conquer Gaza City, an alarming escalation in its ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people. This move would escalate the mass displacement of over 1.2 million Palestinians, most of whom are already enduring man-made famine, disease, and the trauma of relentless bombardment by the Israeli government. The deliberate targeting of civilians and infrastructure is not only morally indefensible, but it is a direct violation of international law.
