Last week, MPAC joined Assembly Member Dave Jones for an Eid Lunch he held for Muslim organizations. During his remarks, the Assembly member of the 9th District highlighted his commitment to service and motivating citizens to actively engage their communities. He also shared his efforts to problem-solve around civil rights violations, healthcare, and his advocacy on behalf of the persecuted Muslim minority in China. Jones articulated a deep understanding of the balance of keeping our communities safe and civil rights concerns. -
