  • NY Firefighter to be Honored at 9/11 Commemoration Event

    Serving his community on 9/11, former firefighter Kevin James is a Muslim who has dedicated his life to the service of others. A civil rights and fire-safety activist the successes of his labor have led to the passing of legislation that has saves thousands of lives in New York City. He became a firefighter in 1981 and was promoted to the rank of fire marshal in 1985. During his time as a firefighter, he received several meritorious awards for heroism.
