Meet Sara Alzamani, MPAC's Summer Policy & Research Intern

August 28, 2013

Sara Alzamani is MPAC's Summer 2013 Government Intern. She has been living in the U.S. for less than 3 years and is majoring in religious studies at Claremont Graduate School.

Alzamani has always been passionate about faith-based advocacy and peace-building activities especially in Middle East through promoting interfaith and intrafaith dialogues. Being socially active in Iran, Alzamani is now thrilled to explore the wide range of opportunities that are showing up in her new life especially by getting to know MPAC and its network and activities.

"My internship at MPAC has been fantastic. The staff in one of the best group of people to work with," she said. "Their intentions, honesty, compassion and passion have recommitted me to pursuing a career in the nonprofit sector. I have worked at many jobs before and I will work many jobs in the future, but this will remain the most outstanding memory in my professional life."
