Meet Dina El-Mosalami, Summer 2013 Government & Policy Intern

June 11, 2013

Meet Dina El-Mosalami, one of MPAC's new Summer 2013 Government and Policy Interns. El-Mosalami is an Egyptian American, and recently graduated from The American University in Cairo with a double degree in Business Administration and Mass Communication.

"I strongly believe there is a need for intellectual Muslim theologians around the world, and insha' Allah (Godwilling), I plan to become one," El-Mosalami said. "I have an interest in religions and different theological thoughts. Islam, in both the West and the East, needs better representatives and that's what brought me to MPAC."

El-Mosalami said that being around bright young Muslims who have the intellectual ability to promote correct Islamic values is what motivates her in life.

"Uniting Muslims, regardless of ethnicity or culture, is such an important cause that I truly enjoy working for," she said.

El-Mosalami has worked in the industries including pharmaceutical, advertising and micro-finance. She has also worked for the United Nations High Commisioner for Refugees, and finds that working for MPAC's is truly her passion.
