Apply for MPAC’s Fall 2011 Internship Program. Deadline is Sept. 2
As Islam and Muslim Americans gain more attention in the media,
politics and the community, MPAC is offering college students the
opportunity to get involved in helping shape the way these two
hot-button topics are being discussed.
Join the MPAC team this fall as we are seeking undergraduate and graduate students for our 2011 Fall Internship program. The deadline to apply for your chance to work alongside our Washington, DC, or Los Angeles staff is Friday, Sept. 2.
The
MPAC internship involves students in an unforgettable experience, as
they are an integral component in fulfilling the goals of the
organization while getting hands-on experience in government and media
relations, Hollywood outreach, community engagement and interfaith
relations.
As
a public policy and advocacy organization, MPAC focuses on promoting
accurate and constructive public discourse about Islam and Muslims.
During the course of eight weeks, MPAC interns will conduct research,
develop leadership skills and participate in outreach to government,
media and the Muslim American community.
For
more information about the internship program and other MPAC Young
Leaders programs, please contact MPAC’s Young Leaders Program
Coordinator Yasmin Hussein, at 202-547-7701 or yasmin@mpac.org.
