Lekovic Leads Workshops at CAMP Leadership Summit
May 6, 2012

Recently, MPAC’s Director of Policy and Programming Edina Lekovic traveled to Princeton, NJ, to participate in the 5th Annual Leadership Summit convened by the Council for the Advancement of Muslim Professionals (CAMP). There, she conducted two workshops on “Developing a High-Impact Communication Strategy” and “Cultivating Your Leadership Presence” for more than 150 of the participants.
More than 300 successful Muslim American professionals from
around the country attended the Leadership Summit that has come to be known as
a forum for positive dialog, learning together and leveraging each other’s
experiences – with a focus on professional aspirations. It is an opportunity to
celebrate successes, share challenges and plan for the future.
The full-day event featured plenary keynote addresses by Hosain
Rahman and Hayat Sindi,
panels which explored the leadership mindset and the role of Muslim
professionals and interactive skills development sessions on communications,
negotiations, leadership presence and networking.
