Attend ‘I Am Change’ Workshop at MSA EZ Conference
March 31, 2011
If you are attending the the Muslim Student Association’s National’s East Zone Conference in Boston this Saturday, make time in your schedule to attend MPAC's "I Am Change" Civic Leadership workshop.
Conducted by Yasmin Hussein, MPAC’s Young Leaders Program Coordinator, the workshop is designed to help students and community members build a strong civic identity and movement on their college campus.
MPAC serves to empower young Muslim leaders by giving them the tools of civic engagement. Our "I Am Change" workshop provides a rundown on how to make changes on a local, state and federal level, and it enables individuals to envision an idea and communicate that idea effectively within the workings of our system, which then in turn leads them to become future leaders of our nation.
Along with attending the workshop, stop by MPAC’s booth to learn more about our three upcoming Young Leaders Summits in New York, Los Angeles and Washington, DC.
To schedule an "I Am Change" workshop in your community, please contact the MPAC office at 213-383-3443.
