'Dirty Paki Lingerie' Explores Lives of 6 Women in Post-9/11 America
July 27, 2011

New York don’t miss your chance in catching “Dirty Paki Lingerie." No, it’s not what you think -- "Dirty Paki Lingerie" is a solo play by a “keep your eye on her” talent, Aizzah Fatima.
Set in the post-9/11 ear, the play follows six Pakistani American women whose lives are caught between the East and the West. Among the stories that unfold throughout the play, Faitma explores the lives of a 65-year-old mom who is trying to arrange her daughter's marriage, as well as a young woman attempting online dating, among others.
Catch “Dirty Paki Lingerie” tonight and Saturday at the Midtown International Theater Festival at the Dorothy Strelsin Theater, the Abingdon Complex.
