By partnering with the Doha Film Institute, “Day of the Falcon” was able to bring local work opportunities and create recognition and exposure to the Arab region. While the film is deeply rooted in history, the cast and crew were able to witness history in the making during the film's production in Qatar and Tunisia as it coincided with the Arab Spring. The theme of how one man's protest led to a nationwide uprising and the downfall of a corrupt government, interestingly mirrored the film's own storyline of upheaval in the Arab world during a different time.
The film is being released in 10 markets. Check your local theater to see if it is playing near you.
