MPAC’s Congressional Immigration Intelligence Report

August 5, 2013

MPAC is proud to offer you its Congressional Immigration Intelligence Report. Please use this information to familiarize yourself with the views and goals of congresspeople in relation to the immigration debate. We will  encounter allies and opponents, and it is our job to reach out to both.

Please call, e-mail or send a letter to your congressperson and tell him/her to:

As the immigration debate progresses, we will update this page with new information on where representatives stand on the issue and how you can target and influence them. This is a vital time in the immigration reform process — you can influence the contents of the bill and the future of our great nation. It seems unlikely that Speaker of the House Rep. John Boehner (R-OH) will bring the Senate’s immigration (S.744) bill to the House floor. As a result, a group of congresspeople — the “gang of seven” — are taking the Senate immigration bill, tearing it apart and constructing their own version of immigration reform.

While this idea may seem appealing and thorough, the process will take more time to complete than we have, which raises the risk of not having important reforms included in the bill. Please review the Gang of Seven’s views and reach out to them via phone or email.
