Watch the First Presidential Debate with MPAC in DC
October 3, 2012

Next Wednesday, Oct. 3, the first of three presidential debates will take place. With the two candidates even in the recent polls, the debates will allow voters to focus on the issues behind the two politicians.
Join MPAC’s DC office next week, at 8 p.m., for the first of three Debate Viewing Party. Let’s watch the debate together and talk about the issues. As part of our elections campaign “My Faith. My Vote. My Future.,” MPAC seeks to create momentum and provide a platform for dialogue about the upcoming elections.
“The debate viewing parties are an exciting and simple way to engage the American Muslim community in the 2012 elections” said Hoda Elshishtawy, MPAC’s Legislative and Policy Analyst. She also added “It’s imperative that American Muslims get involved in the elections as an active and civically-engaged community.”
The first debate will focus on domestic policy, and following the viewing, MPAC invites attendees to participate in a conversation about the issues presented during the debate.
Light refreshments will be served.
To RSVP and receive location details, please email Yasmin Hussein, MPAC’s Young Leaders Program Coordinator, at yasmin@mpac.org.
