On Saturday Jan. 18, MPAC is partnering with the Muslim Bar Association of Southern California for "The Challenges of State Court Judicial Elections," a lunchtime conversation with Judge Halim Dhanidina about democracy, elections and the California judiciary. 

The event will also focus on the challenges that Muslim legal professionals face when running for elected positions. We hope to see you on Jan. 18 at noon at Aleppo's Kitchen in Anaheim, CA. If you have not already RSVP'd, please do so by emailing info@mbasc.org or on our Facebook page.  Space is limited. This past December at the 13th annual convention, MPAC presented its Community Leadership Award to Judge Dhanidina, the first Muslim judge appointed in California. Dhanidina said he was overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from the community.
