Mohiuddin to Speak about Media Bias at MPA Houston Event

On Sunday, Nov. 20, Marium Mohiuddin, MPAC's Communication Corodinator, will be speaking at the Turquoise Center in Houston, TX, for The Muslim Professional Association's "The Future of Muslims in America: The Many Ways Forward"

Along with other distinguised speakers, Mohiuddin will speak about political engagement, the role of activism, ivil rights for Muslims and if there is a media bias.

Everyone must register. Online registration is free for MPA members. Non-members should register online to attend the event for $45 dollars, or become a member for $125 to attend this event and 4 remaining events in 2012.  Registration ends on November 19th. Seating is limited; members should register online as on-site registration cannot be guaranteed.Complimentary child care will be available from 5.30-9.00 pm for children ages 2 and up.
