MPAC's 13th annual Convention will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, CA.

MPAC’s convention brings together leading policy-makers, academicians, faith leaders, activists and other thought leaders from around the country to discuss and debate vital issues impacting the American Muslim community, America and the Muslim world.

Previous speakers include:

• Dr. Cornel West, Professor of African American Studies at Princeton
• Reza Aslan, Iranian-American writer, Scholar of Religions, and Author of “No god But God: The Origins, Evolution, and Future of Islam”
• Congressman Andre Carson, the 2nd American Muslim member of Congress serving the voters of Indiana
• Robert Fisk, award-winning journalist with The Gaurdian
• Amy Goodman, Broadcast Journalist, Syndicated Columnist, Investigative Reporter and Host of “Democracy Now!”
• Congressman Mike Honda, Representative for California's 17th congressional district, encompassing western San Jose and Silicon Valley
• Pastor Rick Warren, Founder and Senior Pastor of Saddleback Church and Author of “The Purpose Driven Life”

From Dec. 1-13: $35 for the conference / $75 for the banquet
At the door: $35 for the conference / $80 for the banquet (space permitting)
*Students receive a $10 discount to the banquet with valid student ID
