"Let's Be Honest" Community Forum in Irvine, CA

Join MPAC & ICOI for special event on Fri., Sept. 27

September 27, 2013

Join MPAC and the Islamic Center of Irvine on Friday, Sept. 27, at 7:30 p.m. for an honest discussion on hot button issues facing our community featuring a diverse panel of experts, including MPAC President Salam Al-Marayati, marriage and family therapist Noha Alshugairi, ICOI Resident Scholar Sheikh Jamaal Diwan and attorney and activist Reem Salahi.

Moderated by MPAC's Director of Policy & Programming Edina Lekovic, the forum presents a fresh opportunity to raise pressing questions about timely issues in an effort to move our communities toward a more open, and vitally important, space to discuss taboo issues, including mental health, gender relations, women in leadership, and family dynamics.
