at the Islamic Center of San Gabriel Valley

November 11, 2012

Join the Muslim Public Affairs Council and the Islamic Center of San Gabriel Valley on Sunday, November 11, at 11 a.m. for an honest discussion on hot button issues facing our community.

Moderated by Dr. Laila Al-Marayati, the conversation will feature USC Islamic Thought and Culture professor Dr. Sherman Jackson, marriage and family counselor Munira Ezzeldine, Sheikh Said Seddouk, imam of the Islamic Center of San Gabriel Valley, and MPAC’s Director of Policy and Programming Edina Lekovic.

The forum is an opportunity to ask pressing questions in an effort to move our communities toward a more open, and vitally important, space to discuss taboo issues, including mental health, gender relations, women in leadership, and family dynamics. View the flyer.
