Virginia Congressional District 11

On Tuesday, Oct. 26, MPAC is co-hosting NOVA Candidate Night Out with the candidates vying for the Congressional seat for the 11th district of Virginia: Rep. Gerry Connolly (D), Keith Fimian (R) and David Dotson (L). The candidates will discuss issues facing our country, especially those impacting the Muslim American community.

Co-hosted by the Coordinating Council of Muslim Organizations (CCMO) and the Northern Virginia Coalition (NOVA Coalition), the forum will be held at the Dar Alnoor Islamic Community Center. Join us for this free event, which will also include dinner.

In light of Islam being used as a pawn in the current election to create negative campaigns against some of the candidates, it is important for local Muslims to attend such events and stand by the politicians who stand by the Muslim American community.
