If You Care for Your Future: Engaging in Civic Liberties
September 1, 2012

There are many issues and concerns that we as Muslims are facing in the United States. However sometimes we do not know how to make our voices heard to the right people in order to create change. One of the key ways to making public officials care about our concerns on domestic and foreign policy is by being able to know how to effectively talk to them.
Join us in a workshop that aims to empower Muslim Americans all around the country to stand up and advocate for the issues we all care about, and strengthen our ability to do it effectively. This session is about active citizenship and embracing our rights as Muslim Americans to work with decision makers in our local communities, in our state legislatures, and in Congress to shape better policies.
