With the intention of building a strong foundation for conversations and events toward inclusivity, the 20-page kit is meant as a tool for communities to work toward strengthening America, with these three messages:

  1. Muslim Americans have and continue to defend America on the front lines;
  2. Muslims around the world also have been victims of terrorism; and,
  3. Our nation’s diversity is our greatest strength.

The kit focuses on honoring the victims and survivors of the 9/11 attacks and highlighting the work of the brave men and women who served and protected their fellow citizens on that fateful day.

Designed for use by any community across the nation, not specifically the Muslim American community, the kit offers suggestions on how to speak to your elected representative to organizing community events such as neighborhood dinners to engaging the media. All of these are key points in our mutual re-emphasis that we stand as one collective citizenry.

The 10th anniversary of 9/11 is an opportunity for our nation to come together in the face of a tragic event and build bridges between communities to produce a stronger, more unified America.
