MPAC supports universal mail-in voting during the COVID-19 pandemic, and will not support any form of voter suppression, including President Trump’s obstruction of the USPS ability to successfully deliver the casted ballots of Americans before election day.

The NO BAN Act would would outright prohibit any future president from using religious discrimination as a basis for restricting immigration. Now the bill will travel to the Senate, where it will likely be rejected. However, hope for the repeal of the Muslim Ban and complete passage of the NO BAN Act looms over the horizon this November, in the form of the potential presidency of former Vice President Joe Biden. -

After the COVID-19 outbreak and the vote for the NO BAN Act was delayed, we called on Congress to make it a priority upon their return from recess. Now, they finally will. Not only would this legislation weaken immigration restrictions, but it would also make good on this country’s values of religious freedom and providing refuge to those fleeing persecution and seeking a better life.
