How Does MPAC Help Muslims & Islam in America?
The Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) disseminates accurate information about Islam and Muslims into the political arena and the media. MPAC officials meet with public officials at the federal, state and local level and educates decision-makers on the principles of Islam and the sentiment of mainstream American Muslims. MPAC influences public opinion to reflect a more accurate portrayal of Islam and Muslims.
MPAC does not accept any funding from foreign governments as a matter of policy. The political and financial independence of American Muslims will positively impact the future of Islam in America.
