Apply for LA & DC Internships
February 9, 2016
MPAC’s internship program is an exciting opportunity to get involved in improving public understanding and policies that impact American Muslims by engaging our government, media and communities.
Our internships are located in our Washington, DC and Los Angeles offices. If you are interested in making your mark on today’s important issues and getting your voice heard, then apply to MPAC’s internship program. We are seeking undergraduate, graduate and recent grad students for our summer 2017 internship (June - August).
We provide interns with the opportunity to develop their leadership, communication, and critical analysis skills. Interns will gain hands-on experience in policy, media, Hollywood and community organizing. Our internship program helps develop aspiring leaders who are committed to enriching America through the vital contributions of American Muslims
Founded in 1988, the Muslim Public Affairs Council is an American institution that improves public understanding of Islam and shapes policies that impact American Muslims by engaging our government, media and communities. Our policy work focuses on reforming national security; upholding religious freedom and civil liberties; and creating an American Muslim voice for human rights. We improve public understanding by engaging media producers from film, television, news and popular culture to provide authentic and humanizing portrayals of Islam and Muslims. Our community organizing work empowers the American Muslim community to get involved in policy and understanding.
