LAPD Wants to Better Serve Muslims: Take This Survey, Share Your Thoughts

March 27, 2014

A rare opportunity has arisen to collectively tell the LAPD how it can better serve the needs and interests of the Muslim community based in Los Angeles. Through a survey created by the University of Nevada, Reno, and helped framed by MPAC, the community is invited to share their thoughts in an effort to make our communities safer and foster a stronger relationship.

The survey, "Helping our families and friends, helping ourselves: Creating safer and more supportive communities," has three main purposes:

  1. To communicate Muslim-led ideas about how to improve safety and well-being in our L.A-based communities
  2. To communicate Muslim voices to the LAPD about how they can do a better job of interacting with Muslims
  3. To hear about how to make Chief Charlie Beck’s Muslim Community Forum an even more useful and important event for the exchange of ideas between L.A.-based Muslims and the LAPD

Please join us in taking this 15-to-25-minute survey. It is completely anonymous and will be available through the end of April.

Participating in this survey also will qualify you to win a $250 Amazon gift card from LAPD.
