MPAC is proud to sponsor the 2014 Gaza Solidarity 5K Walk/Runs in California! These family(and pet!) friendly races are being held in San Francisco's Lake Merced Park on October 18 & in LA/Orange County in Fountain Valley's Mile Square Regional Park on October 25.

Hosted by UNRWA USA and the Ramallah Club of San Francisco, funds raised benefit UNRWA's programs for children in Gaza suffering from PTSD and other psychological trauma as a result of the ongoing blockade and recurring violence. After the most recent assault on Gaza, it is now estimated that over 400,000 children have experienced death of loved ones including classmates and friends, destruction of their homes, or displacement. Over 500 children have died, the rest are deeply traumatized and in need of immediate counseling. These children need our help more than ever.

So lace up your walking/running shoes and join us on October 18 and October 25 to show the children of Gaza they are not alone.
