Directed by Ava Duvernay, "Selma" tells the story of how Martin Luther King, Jr. and fellow activists organized to secure voting rights for African Americans.
Director Peter Sattler’s film, starring Kristen Stewart (Twilight) and Peyman Moaadi (A Separation), is a feature narrative on an unlikely friendship that forms at a Guantanamo Bay prison between a soldier (Stewart) and detainee (Moaadi).
Produced by husband and wife team Kate Davis and David Heilbroner, "The Newburgh Sting" is an HBO Documentary about four men from the impoverished and largely African-American city of Newburgh, NY, who were lured into carrying out a terrorist plot by an FBI informant in 2009.
Plus, we’ll have producer/actor Waleed Zuaiter (“Omar,” “House of Cards”), retired veteran news reporter Warren Wilson of KTLA News, and professional screenwriter Roger Wolfson (“The Closer”, “Saving Grace”, and “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit”), who will serve as guest presenters.
