Join MPAC at the Islamic Society of Simi Valley in Simi Valley, CA on Sunday, Aug. 24 at 10 am, for an "I Am Change" workshop with MPAC President Salam Al-Marayati. "I Am Change" is an interactive three-hour workshop which empowers American Muslims to advocate for issues they care about and develop the necessary skills to become vocal and active citizens.

You're voice won't be heard on domestic and foreign policy issues you care deeply about unless you are sitting at the table where decisions are made. The “I Am Change” workshop is about active citizenship and about each of us fully participating as Americans in the political process. We must engage with decision-makers in our local communities, state legislatures and Congress to shape better policies.
