American Muslim Consumer Conference to Explore Power of Muslim Market
October 13, 2011

The Muslim American community has emerged as the minority group with the highest buying power, and many businesses are beginning to pay attention.
The Third Annual American Muslim Consumer Conference on Oct. 29 at the Hyatt Hotel in New Brunswick, NJ, will address this growing community and its untapped potential.
Leaders from Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Thomson Reuters, Ogilvy & Mather and Edible Arrangements, along with many other entrepreneurs and business owners, will speak at the conference. The unique program for industry professionals to learn more about the emerging Muslim market will be the first of its kind. Currently, there are few brands and products that cater to Muslim American wants and needs.
This year’s theme, “Multiculturalism and the American Muslim Consumer Market," will emphasize opportunities in the Muslim American market with the objective of understanding and addressing the needs of American Muslim Consumers and promote companies and entrepreneurs who are developing products for this market.
