MPAC's Mohiuddin to Speak
at Interfaith World Peace Pilgrimage

July 28, 2012

On Saturday, July 28, Marium Mohiuddin, MPAC's Communication Coordinator, will be taking part in the first ceremony of the Interfaith World Peace Pilgrimage where all faiths will unite for world peace at Mt. Baldy, California.

For the past 3 years more than 200 people from many different faiths have come together on sacred Mount Baldy in the San Gabriel Mountains, east of Los Angeles, to send out a wave of love and light to the world. This year's Interfaith World Peace Pilgrimage to Mount Baldy is gearing up to be the largest gathering of faiths ever seen upon this Holy Mountain.

Christians, Buddhists, Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Sikhs, Sufis, Quakers, Christian Scientists, Native Americans, Indiginous Shamans and other denominations have all signed on to climb Mount Baldy to transcend their differences and join together as one common humanity in a unanimous calling for World Peace. This unique event draws together pilgrims of all ages and all walks of life to walk together, sing together and pray together for world peace and in blessing to the Mother Earth.

To attend the interfaith ceremony, which will be held at three separate levels on the mountain, please call (323) 465-9652 or visit sites.google.com/site/worldpeacepilgrimage.

This is a free event other than the cost of the ski-lift, which is $12.
