On Friday, Feb. 28, MPAC is joining the Islamic Center of Irvine (ICOI) and CAIR-PAC to cosponsor the "Guiding Women into Leadership Roles" at ICOI.

Organizers said they hope event participants will leave feeling empowered for themselves and their families by setting attainable goals through civic engagement and volunteering.

Come and listen from local women leaders about how to make a difference in your life and the lives of others.

The evening's panelists, who will guide participants in attaining leadership roles, are Soraya Deen, Melissa Fox, Mehnaz Piracha and Elena Meloni of the New Star Family Foundation.
