Don't Miss Screening of 'Trials of Muhammad Ali'

February 22, 2014

In celebration of Black History Month, MPAC along with the Masjid Al-Shareef and the ILM Foundation invite you to a screening of "The Trials of Muhammad Ali," a documentary by Bill Siegel and Kartemquin Films, on Saturday, Feb. 22.

SEE: Trailer of "The Trials of Muhammad Ali"

Featuring never before seen pictures and footage, the film investigates the extraordinary and complex life of boxer Muhammad Ali outside the ring. From joining the controversial Nation of Islam and changing his name from Cassius Clay to his refusal to serve in the Vietnam War in the name of protesting racial inequality to his global humanitarian work, Ali remains an inspiring and controversial figure.

Join us and learn how Ali fought for justice in the political arena, not for a title, but for the sake of humanity in this brilliant portrayal of his greatest fight outside of the ring.
