Announcing MPAC-DC's Graduate Policy Fellowship (Deadline extended to 2/26/10)

The Washington, DC office of the Muslim Public Affairs Council is looking for the best and brightest of America's graduate students who are interested in engaging in our nation's policymaking process to apply for our newly created Graduate Policy Fellowship.
The Graduate Policy Fellowship - which kicks off in March 2010 - is tailored for individuals who are seeking a career in public affairs, public policy research and advocacy.
MPAC seeks to identify and develop graduate students in international relations, economics, political science, or public policy to engage in faith-based policy research and advocacy in the heart of the nation's capital.
In 2010, MPAC will select three Graduate Policy Fellows who will participate in a four-month fellowship, which will include opportunities to:
- conduct research on pressing policy issues, write a policy paper which will be utilized by MPAC-DC staff to engage policymakers
- engage Congressional offices, government agencies and civil society organizations
- network with variety of high-caliber professionals from a variety of backgrounds in our nation's capital.
The Winter 2010 Graduate Fellow will be tasked with assessing President Obama's engagement with Muslim communities.
